Indian Creek keeps playoff hopes alive

Senior Jordan Pegues led four Indian Creek players in double figures, Friday night in Annapolis, as he scored 16 points to lead the Eagles to an important MIAA C Conference 64-51 victory over Baltimore Lutheran.
ICS stretched a three point halftime lead to 20 before a couple of late threes closed the gap for Lutheran.
Senior Zach Simon chipped in 13 points and sophomores Eddie Jenkins and Bijon Brydson were the other two Eagles notching double figures, scoring 15 and 11 points respectively.
Indian Creek (6-10, 3-5) pulled within a half game of Park in the race for the fourth C Conference playoff spot. With a huge week ahead, the Eagles will host Beth Tfiloh, on Tuesday at 6:00 pm, before a crucial road match up at Park on Friday, February 5.
Senior Mark Bracey led Lutheran with 13 points, while Josh Schildwachter added 10 points. In addition, Chris Conway and Andrew Laughlin combined for 17 points for the Saints.
