McDonogh and St. Mary's will participate in Day of Rivals at M&T Bank Stadium

For two MIAA A Conference lax squads, one of the highlights of the 2010 campaign will come on Saturday, April 17 when they meet at M&T Bank Stadium to kickoff the 2010 Smartlink Day of Rivals, presented by Inside Lacrosse.

McDonogh and St. Mary's will battle on the M&T turf, which has become on the country's premier lacrosse venues, prior to the renewal of two historic college rivalries - Army/Navy and Johns Hopkins/Maryland.

Of course there will be no shortage of former MIAA players in the college pairings as well.

McDonogh and St. Mary's will face-off at 1:00 p.m., followed by Army/Navy at 4:30 p.m. and Hopkins/Maryland at 6:30 p.m.

“The Smartlink Day of Rivals is an event that brings together the two most compelling rivalries in college lacrosse – Army/Navy and Maryland/Johns Hopkins. The addition of a MIAA game was simply a natural fit," said Andy Bilello of Inside Lacrosse. "The MIAA is the most competitive high school lacrosse league in the country and every match-up offers an intense rivalry. Including the McDonogh-St. Mary’s game makes the Day of Rivals experience accessible to even more lacrosse fans. Everyone at Inside Lacrosse and Smartlink appreciates the commitment of both schools to be part of this historic event.”

Tickets for the Smartlink Day of Rivals are $30 for Club Level seats, $20 for Lower Level reserved seats, $15 for groups of 10 or more and $10 for groups of 100 or more. All seats for the event are reserved.

Inside Lacrosse will also be presenting the 2010 MIAA Lacrosse Championships at Towson University on May 22, 2010.
