Anthony continues to lead the NBA in scoring

Former MIAA basketball star Carmelo Anthony (Towson Catholic) continues to lead the NBA in scoring, as he is averaging 29.7 points per game for the Denver Nuggets,

Anthony, who has only appeared in 38 games this season due to injury, has shot 46.4% from the field and 36.1% from three point range.

Another former MIAA standout, Rudy Gay (Archbishop Spalding) of the Memphis Grizzlies, is averaging 19.7 points per game is 24th in the league.
