2024 MIAA Wrestling Tournament Seeds
Mount St. Joe, Gilman and Loyola combine for 10 of the 14 top seeds
The seeds have been announced for the 2024 MIAA Wrestling Tournament, which will take place on Saturday at Gilman School, and the host Greyhounds, who won the 2023-24 MIAA A Conference dual meet championship share the lead for the most seeded wrestlers, at 12, with Loyola Blakefield. Each school has three No. 1 seeds.
Two-time defending champion Mount St. Joseph, however, leads the way with four No. 1 seeds and three No. 2 seeds. The Gaels, who have 11 wrestlers seeded in this year's even have won five of the last six MIAA Tournaments and have won the event 12 times, more than any other school, since the MIAA's inception in 1995. McDonogh is second with 10 tournament championships, while Gilman and Loyola have never won this event.
