MIAA football kicks off this week
Boys' Latin and Gilman get things rolling on Thursday, with other games slated for Friday
A new school year brings the excitment and pageantry of high school football and, after of weeks of hot summer workouts and scrimmages, many MIAA football teams are set to put toe to leather to kickoff the 2025 football season this week.
The first game is set for Thursday as Roland Park neighborhood rivals Boys' Latin and Gilman square off on the turf at Gilman. BL is member of the B Conference and Gilman is part of the A Conference. Another A vs. B match-up is scheduled for Friday as Concordia Prep visists defending B Conference champion Archbishop Curley. All of Friday's other opening contests will see MIAA schools taking on non-league members, against opponents from the DC Metro area, Indiana and Tennessee. Several other MIAA football teams have scrimmages scheduled.

Archbishop Spalding at Brownsburg (IN), 7 pm
Mount St. Joseph at Bullis Prep, 7 pm
St. Vincent Pallotti at Boyd-Buchanan (TN), 7 pm
